    aspirants read Bipin Chandra, toppers read Rajiv Ahir. Quite a paradox but a glance at questions asked in G.S,-1 from Indian History will tell the tale. you need a broader view instead of micro perspective to answer the questions now.

    Very good book almost covers all the Important topics in India's Modern History. Though it is good book, I will suggest to use it as supplementary book with Bipin Chandra's Book.
