Out of all the types of devotion, the best is the sweet-hearted devotion of Vraj. Its origin had erupted in Vraj, about five hundred years ago from today. Since then till today its pure stream has been flowing uninterruptedly. The virtuous stories of those Rasikacharyas and Rasik devotees who have observed in this are included in this book.
In its present form, this book was not planned earlier. Earlier a book was published in the name of 'Bhakta of Vraj', in which the characters of the devotees of Vraj were written about two hundred years ago. That book became very popular. After that the readers were shocked that the characters of the rest of the devotees of Vraj of the last five hundred years should also be published. The rest of the devotees belonged to the period when the work of spreading the sweet-bhaktiras in Vraj was going on fast. In that each of them had contributed in the form of Acharya. That is why this second book was composed by the name 'Rasikacharya of Vraja'. The series was named Vraja-Bhaktamal by combining the two books into a series. 'Rasikacharya of Vraj' is the first flower of this series, 'Bhakta of Vraj' is its second flower. 'Rasikacharya of Vraj' is published in two volumes. The first section contains the characters of the Rasikacharyas of the Sri Chaitanya sampradaya, while the second contains the characters of other sects.
