Excellent buy
I read an artical on WSJ about "New Breed of Bikes Teach Kids to Ride - WSJ.com" ( the article however doesn't strongly recommend this bike as must have for kids when learning to ride bicycle but, I would still what to try this.
It seems very simple design and use. Before trying for paddle bicycle, I would prefer my son to learn balancing on two wheels first.

My nephew loves his bril rider bike !
Recently I got a bril rider for my nephew who was 4.5 years then. Within 3 days he was able to balance the bril rider and ride it effortlessly. Of course he had been riding a cycle (with trainer wheels) for 2 years so it was easy for him; however we just could not get him to ride without the support.

Good bike
I bought this bike for my daughter about 1.5 years back, when she was just 2; now she is able to balance herself and I am planning to buy an actual cycle for her.
quite happy with the bike and it has survived so long and still works fine. I would recommend this for kids above 3 and not below though.

My initial post was about the cost and usability. But I found that children likes it like anything.
My son learned lots of things and it is amazing to see how 3 .5 years old children can steer cycle, put brakes by rubbing feet, balance themselve by dropping feet to ground, move slowly on steep slopes etc.
It is worth after seeing the way your child enjoy it.

First Impression!
Just received the bike yesterday...First impression is that the build is not of very good quality. It has not been welded cleanly and is easily noticeable.
Though the colour is nice, but it gives the impression its not going to last for long.
As a concept, my two and a half year old son has immediately started walking with it...hopefully it will help him learn to ride a bike.

Hard to assemble
I bought this product for my 16 month old son as I was curious about the idea of using a balance bike to teach balance as a motor skill instead of going with the traditional way of getting a tricycle and then graduating to a cycle with guard wheels. Since it has only been a few days, I can't yet comment on the ability to learn balance yet as this may take a couple of weeks, months. Brilrider Balance Bike
It's a new generation product and an excellent one. It is a great experience for the kids those who are riding brilrider. We can't imaging one and half year kid can easily riding the bike without anybody's support. They learn to balance by themselves. Thanks to Bril and FlipKart

Excellent Product
I can absolutely vouch for this product as I have literally seen a 2 year old kid learn to balance in a matter of weeks. I don't know if the previous reviewer got a faulty piece, and it does happen, but this product is great. It just works.

useless
we bought it a few days ago, it is a very poor quality cheap chinese product. not very useful either. certainly not worth the price. it should be priced below Rs1000. Flipkart should test products before offering them for sale as it is difficult to judge quality only by looking at the photo.
