One of the cheapest tablets available in the market this tablet comes preloaded with many apps like:
1. Vortex media player which plays almost any format
2. A gallery section to view all photos
3. Angry birds, google play store, apkinstalled for any other apk you need to install.

Pros are ofcourse the cheapest price, good looks, and easy to handle interface and plays HD videos nicely.

Initally when it came it didnt have all the features (Talk, Google Play Store) ..and then had to get to the Pantel Customer Service (which was quite good and responsive ) . They gave a link and once I updated the base software all the required stuff was available..decent product for the price u pay

1)battery is just 3000mAh...should have been better.
2)VGA cam s far bad.And when Video calling using skype,the video is not smooth at the receiver's side.

Ideal for Gift...

As a first-time purchaser of a tablet, I was quite impressed with the BSNL Penta IS701C. Its Android 4.0 OS works flawlessly, though it lacks the functionality of Windows. If you have Wi-fi, you can browse the net, check your e-mail, view photos and videos and word,excel & powerpoint files through the self-installed apps.
Some of these apps, though, are pretty useless (one of them was in Russian!) and I preferred to uninstall them.
One can easily download and install more apps from the Google...

I am very happy I brought it. The low price gives me a high whenever I take it out. It serves all my purposes. I can play fantastic games and read all my books. The Google Play apps make it a darling. Its internet connectivity is fantastic in broadband. Fast and far. Its sound is a little low sometimes without headphones. Its video quality is good too.

The only con that stops me from loving it heart and soul is its battery. The charge retention could have been longer. This should have been ...

Firstly about Tablet. This is a good entry level Android Tablet

Pros

1) Decent Build
2) Smooth Touch
3) Crisp LCD screen
4) Full Sized USB Port

Cons

1) Not sure on how to make the USB Dongles from Vodafone or any other company work .No documentation available.

I bought this tablet from a Flipkart.
After reviewing the product I found the screen resolution is good and sometimes better if I compare with peer products in market like Lemon tab, HCL tab.
I found the Android Ice Cream Sandwich working superb on it.
I have played mp3s and Videos and they work superb. To my utmost astonishment even mkv format played without any difficulty (Full HD). I plugged in a Sony earphone and the sound output was unbelievable, hence no need to carry ipod any more.
