Swapna Behera is a contemporary poet, author, educationist, critic , translator, reviewer, and editor from Odisha, India. Her stories, poems and articles are widely published in Newspapers, International journals, magazines Anthologies and ezines and translated in different languages. Being a lifetime member of Environment Society ,she is concerned about preservation of Nature. Swapna Behera is a former teacher for more than three decades i.e. at the Mont Fort School from 1984-1995 and a teacher in Kendriya Vidyalayas, from 1995-2015 under Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan ,an Autonomous organization under the Ministry of Human Resource Development ,Government of India. She has received several outstanding recognitions for teaching excellence. She is the recipient of several awards from Algeria, Morocco, Mexico, Spain, Africa, Oman, Kazakhstan and Italy. She has penned five books. She is the recipient of the Prestigious International Mother Language UGADI AWARD WINNER 2019.
