Decent read...tough language

The book gives a description of experiences of a civil servant and their families with a pinch of salt. The content is humorous no doubt , but the language used could and SHOULD have been simpler.
A book that has humor and sarcasm as its main drivers should be an easy read. What's the fun in reading a joke book if you have to refer a dictionary every 5 minutes.

Read it if you want to know some bit on the lives of civil servants and laugh as well but only if your vocabulary is good .It can b...

"Bureaucrazy Gets Crazier" a must read

I bought this book from Flipkart with not much expectations. Thought the author might have written about the way IAS works in a normal prose. But i am pleasantly surprised to find that this is actually a great book. It brought smile on my face from the page 1. Now i have become a fan of M.K. Kaw. Everyone should read this book, not just IAS aspirants.
This book is hilarious. I have completed reading it in a single sitting on a weekend by canceling other commitments. Full paisa wasool. Thank y...

Amusingly humorous and revealing

A must have for Civil Service aspirants, for this book helps you to break the enigma surrounding the lives and work of senior bureaucrats. On many-a-occasion I found myself chukling loudly, that is my best assurance that this book is worth the read.

Blatantly uncensored and revealing. Pulls the curtain on how the senior civil servants behave.

Humorous yet insightful

Author has done a remarkable job in giving true insights of the Indian bureaucracy though I feel its not same in present times but still it gives a better understanding of how the bureaucracy has evolved over the time. A great read !

It is not uncommon to see bureaucrats exploding the inside myths of higher bureaucracy once they reach superannuation and this is one such book revealing the mindset of perhaps every person a bureaucrat meets .Kaw has penned extreme levels of sarcasm and has made us smile and laugh through the journey of reading. language author has used is of upper standards once you read this book you will have referred "The merriam-webster"
