The book gives a description of experiences of a civil servant and their families with a pinch of salt. The content is humorous no doubt , but the language used could and SHOULD have been simpler.

I bought this book from Flipkart with not much expectations. Thought the author might have written about the way IAS works in a normal prose. But i am pleasantly surprised to find that this is actually a great book. It brought smile on my face from the page 1. Now i have become a fan of M.K. Kaw. Author has done a remarkable job in giving true insights of the Indian bureaucracy though I feel its not same in present times but still it gives a better understanding of how the bureaucracy has evolved over the time. A great read !
