this book is absolutely not for beginners. It's very old and has outdated concepts.You should try something newer and simple

People who wish to strengthen their core basics in C must read this book. Helps in the long run. Since C is the most basic language, before learning other HLL or OOPs languages, it pays to read this book before trying them.

Really great book from the maker of C Language :) A Must Have choice...I have reac many c books but this is simple and clear. Everything is point to point. But my advice is this is not for New-Bie's. New Comers should first look google for simplest C programs and then refer this book.

Great book, informative and yes, from the creators of the C language themselves, it's a packed punch of information a.k.a. Know-It-All about C language.
PS : Not recommended for absolute beginners.

this book is considered the bible of C language and for advanced C programmers and professionals is an excellent recommendation, but for absolute beginners and dummies, this book is not such a good idea.. those who are dealing with C for the first time will find it very difficult(even impossible) to understand this book... not recommended for beginners.

This is excellent book but not for naive users. If one have basic knowledge of c language then it will give you a clear understanding of the concepts. Example problems are also very good to practice and also very relevant examples to CSE students.

After reading my title, you may wonder why not to buy the bible of C language. I know the fact that this book is written by the writers of the language. However this book is now too old.

This book uses ANSI. ANSI was the version of C used before it was ISO standardized. (Sorry for spells).

Using this book you are going to learn the outdated version of the language. Even Dennis g who is dead stopped using the ANSI version. This book is for reference, or for people who want to know how this ...
