CAD/CAM is an extension of the Computer Integrated Manufacturing(CIM) and both CIM and CAD/CAM are 3rd Year Subjects of Mechanical Engg. This book is a must have for any Mech student,and its very well worth its price. The illustrations are wonderful and they play a huge role in understanding the concepts,especially in a subject like CAD/CAM.

Hi this books is very good one,written in a very lucid manner. Simple language and number of practical examples are highlights of the book.As a mechanical engineering student you will find this book as a treasure of NC and CNC machine knowledge.

CAD basics are excellent, Clear explanations with diagrams.

I bought this book for CAM, although it serves the purpose to explain enough to just get you to pass the exam but ,the book hasn't been proof read properly . poorly edited sentences make things confusing ( explanations referring to wrongly mentioned figure numbers)the stepper and servo motors have negligible share in the text. this books suits you if you don't have time and are not keen on failing.
