About James Stewart

James Stewart completed his M.S. from Stanford University and his PhD from University of Toronto. He is currently working as a professor of mathematics at McMaster University. He was greatly influenced by the famous mathematician George Polya. He has authored several books like Single Variable Calculus: Early Transcendentals, Essential Calculus: Early Transcendentals, etc.
