    Description

Published in the year 2011, Can Love Happen Twice? details the love life of the protagonist Ravin, after he is left heartbroken due to the death of his first love.

    Summary Of The Book

Can Love Happen Twice? is the sequel to Singh’s previous book, I Too Had A Love Story. It starts off with Happy, Manpreet, Amardeep, and Ravin having to attend a radio talk show called Raat gayi, baat baki in Chandigarh, on Valentine’s Day. However, Ravin does not show up that evening. Later that evening, word spreads about Ravin’s girlfriend’s death in a road accident.

This event leaves Ravin completely shattered, and he spirals into depression. He then decides to opt for an onsite job in Belgium, in an attempt to divert his mind from this great loss. He wants a change as the same surroundings remind him of the dreadful event that took place in his life. Things take a turn for the better during his time at Belgium, where he meets Simar, who is pursuing her MBA over there. Her hostel is just a stone’s throw away from Ravin’s office. They begin to bump into each other on a regular basis, and Ravin begins to feel a sense of attraction toward her.

After getting to know details about Ravin’s past relationship, she finds him extremely romantic and caring, while Ravin thinks everything about her is cute. After working there for 10 months, he needs to go back to India, and the two decide to get married. Simar lands back in India, and Ravin goes to meet her parents in Gurgaon. However, Simar wants them to live in Belgium, away from his parents. Does the couple patch up or is it going to be yet another heartbreak for Ravin?

    Yes it CAN!

Love can happen twice. i say this because it is a simple experienced fact. the death of a love is really painful and people who have experienced this can only know how it feels. the darkness, emptiness, loneliness and pain is undescribable. but the new love heals you. even though it may not be like the first it is still powerful and it is equally important. i cannot express how happy i am that Ravin has found love again.. true the innocence of the first story does go missing but this one too ...

No, Love Can't Happen Twice !

    Can Love Happen Twice?

The answer to this title is 'No, it can't happen twice'. I read 'I too Had a love story' long back, cried and cried for a week after reading the book.

Have been waiting for the second book since long. On November 14th I got a mail from Flipkart for the pre-booking of 'Can Love Happen Twice' and within next five minutes, the order for the book was placed. I got the book today in the afternoon delivered to my office. Was not able to keep my hands off the book, I read ti...

Sorry to say...it is a mediocre book!!!

When I ordered this book from flipkart, I really had some great expectations from the author, considering his previous book "I too had a love story" was such an amazingly touching tale of love. But,I am sorry to say that I am thoroughly disappointed with this new venture of his which merely seems to be an attempt to encash from the past success and acolades. There is nothing creative, new or intersting about this book, it is the same old story which goes pretty much one track and gets to cleach...

Love will not happen even once...forget about happening twice...borrow it to read it....don't buy it

Can Love Happen twice is an OK book....It stands no-where if compared with Ravinder Singh's first book. The beginning of the book is quite baffled. For some time you don't even realise what actually is happening. I somewhat find the beginning like the movie 3 idiots where Madhavan is thinking about Aamir Khan and the movie proceeds in flash back. In this case the flashback story telling is done in a radio station.
I somehow find all this love drama too im-mature. The girl Simar's character a...

Means we also have a sad feelings for Ravin for happen to his life but when I read his second novel "Can Love Happen Twice?" I tell you it was amazing because we also have lost hope that now Ravin has to be alone for whole his life but He introduced Simar and I would admire his friends WHO HA...

    No Story at all!

The book is divided into 3 acts:

Act 1: 50 pages of sheer crap where the author lists down 1000 things he likes about the girl.

Act 2: 50 pages of torture where all that he says is wherever they go, they kiss! (I mean who overdoes it in real life?)

Act 3: 50 pages describing the breakup. A bit sensible part of the book.

Overall, sheer waste of money. If people are curious to read it just because they read the prequel, I had suggest spend your energy to find someone who owns the book. Plea...

    Not a great work indeed

Hey, I read the first one ' I too had a love story' and liked it very much, Was eagerly waiting to read this one when this was announced. The first thing i did after landing in India from UK is I bought this book .
The story is not as fresh as the first one, it lacks the power to keep a reader glued to the book. The first book made a reader feel that the story is very true and fresh, however I could sense lot for mix of filmy dramas on 70's and 2000's in this book. Ravin falling in love wit...

    A terrible waste of time

I am yet to understand how a mediocre script can be even published. Every body has a tale, but this is definitely is not a story worth telling. And yes, the last thing we would like to see in a book is a grammatical error. Phew!
