A good lens for mid-level.

This is surprisingly a good lens for mid-level. Infact in outdoor its as good as and any professional level lens. Gives good images at all f values and zoom range. The USM motor works very well and is one of the most silent and quick one i have ever used.

The Lens also gets 4 starts for its price. Its quite reasonable for the quality of picture, zoom, USM, EF mount and IS all this at a given price point. Canon has kept this lens alive for a long time for same reason.
