Canon 1100D vs Nikon 3100

1. canon 1100d has built in focus motor. so you don't have to buy lenses with motors which can be an added cost..

2. The resolution of the screen is same in both cameras but the LCD in Nikon is 3 inch so it makes the images look pixelated whereas in canon it looks crisp and shatp in 2.7 inch.

3. Canon menu system is much easier than nikon.

4. Canon feels much smaller than nikon

5. Battery life is amazing. you can take 840 shots in a full charge

When I decided to purchase a DSLR, the brand was of primary concern to me, Canon, Nikon, Olympus, Pentax, Minolta have been in the imaging field for many years and you can blindly depend on their products in the digital era too.
I am amazed by the controls and superiority of photos with the auto function. Mastering the full controls will take me a lot of time, Going thru the manual gives us info about lot of these controls.
This is just an entry level model from canon in DSLR, but still so go...

I ordered it on 29th october and got it on 3rd november which was two days earlier than what they promised.. Came in a very good packing , well padded up.. Aramex couriers messed it up by making me go to their office which was 15 kms away from where i reside ,telling that their delivery boys were on leave .

This is my first DSLR and i am very much satisfied with the camera and the lenses..Good entry level camera.. , very good for some one who likes to take portraits and outdoor pic...

For budding photographers.... for those who want to explore photography but hesitant to spend a lot.... this is the best option... I have been using it for the past four months... Its very good.. Didnt have any problem.... Cant think of any negatives.. I am quite happy with it... I would recommend this to anyone... The thing about buying this camera is, you can get trained well with the kit lens for few months and later on you can choose to buy a bigger lens if you feel limited by this 18-55...

well i had brought dis product frm flipkart in 19 k n hav no idea y price shot up.....5/5 for flipkart as usual.....
now about the camera......it iz a very very decent buyin this price ratio n u get wat u pay for..no1 will expect highest quality pics...though in dis range u get dis lens nly.....
no regrets abt the camera...except i would lyk to notify flipkart dat wen i got the product it had tampered seal....fr first tym...n i xpect last..:/

Hmmm as usual i wanted to buy a camera , i was looking around all the point and shoot and felt , i dint want to have one as it very common and then i looked into other type of camera and came across SLR and bridge cameras. i always wanted the best clarity hence bridge camera went out of choice due to the small sensor size they have . i compared the size of the sensor of this camera with all and found this was the one i need to buy and after buying it i felt i have done the first right thing...
