excellent cam for starters

i was planning to buy 600d for 31k but then u see this amazing camera for only 22k with only difference as rotating screen, screen resolution and 3 shots per second compared to 3.8.
the picture quality is crisp and user controls are easy and friendly.

looking for a camera that would replace my old one which had a technical fault i just had to go to flipkart and get one. the Best DSLR for Beginners

i would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to start photography as a hobby.

usage wise this is better compare to the Nikon 3300
feature wise its a bit lower than the Nikon 3300

Amazing product!Could have got it slightly cheaper

My first DSLR, thanks to flipkart and its sale i bought it. Its a great camera and come on its EOS!!I it has to be a great camera. Am happy i went for this instead of the 600D cause it almost has the same features and this is a recent model compared to the 600 D,. Away dont have money for the 700D. So overall its a good, ergonomic, and a fantastic camera for beginners. Hats off Flipkart!

Great product for the price i got!! billion day purchase

The camera is the most simplest DSLR and is more than enough for an amature.
best thing is that i got the camera at 17500 in the billion day sale. got an 8 gb storage card free. though i got the delivery of the camera one day late there was a timely notification for the same.
all in all camera is great, should buy one more lense with it probably the 75-300mm or 55-250 mm

Great DSLR and a VFM!

I have been using this camera for 4 days now and it is the best DSLR to start with as it gives you loads of options to experiment and and is user friendly too. Its got the Auto mode where in the picture is a click away for all the new users.

Also WS Retail got it delivered to me within 2 days of placing the order.

Overall a worthy product if you are new into the DSLR world.

Performance

Built with an APS-C CMOS sensor of 18 megapixels, the camera produces vibrant pictures with accurate colour information. The 1200D captures video at Full HD resolution for premium quality visuals.

Display

The 7.62 cm (3 inch) TFT LCD display provides a high quality output with excellent contrast and clarity. The display comes with 460,000 dots for crisper and vivid output. The camera has an eye-level pentamirror viewfinder for accurate framing.

Modes

The program AE shooting modes provided in this camera include the Scene Intelligent Auto, Flash Off, Creative Auto, Portrait, Landscape, Close-up, Sports, Night Portrait and Program Mode for easy capturing. The manual modes include shutter-priority AE, aperture-priority AE and Auto Exposure for extended flexibility.

Shutter Speeds

The camera provides a maximum shutter speed of 1/4000 sec to capture fast moving objects with good clarity, while the minimum 30-second shutter speed lets you capture low light scenes with increased exposures. It also comes with the Bulb mode.
