Description

The EOS 5D is a 21.1 megapixel SLR camera from Canon. Powered by DIGIC 4 image processing technology, the EOS 5D has CMOS sensor with dimension of 36 x 24 mm. This Canon SLR camera has aspect ratio of 3:2. The Magnesium alloy body is well suited for rugged field use and the camera also features Self Cleaning Sensor Unit with fluorine coating, which provides better dust protection. Body

The EOS 5D has Auto sensitivity ranging from ISO 100 - 3200, which can be further extended up to ISO 25600(H2). The Electronically-controlled focal-plane shutter has speed of 1/8000 sec to 30 sec, with the help of bulb. This Canon camera can be attached with external Flash and is compatible with E-TTL II with EX series Speedlites.

The Canon EOS 5D has various scene modes such as Standard, Portrait, Landscape, Neutral, Faithful, and Monochrome. This SLR camera has additional features like DPOF support, Auto power save, Digital noise reduction, Histogram display, PictBridge support, and Direct print.

The Canon EOS 5D SLR camera can shoot Full HD (1920 x 1080) video. The camera supports MOV movie format and JPEG, RAW and JPEG+RAW image formats. A user can shoot at 3.9 shots/sec in the Continuous Shot mode. In terms of connectivity, a user can use USB and HDMI Mini out (Type C).
