Description

The EOS 5D is a 21.1 megapixel SLR camera from Canon. Powered by DIGIC 4 image processing technology, the EOS 5D has CMOS sensor with dimension of 36 x 24 mm. This Canon SLR camera has aspect ratio of 3:2. The Magnesium alloy body is well suited for rugged field use and the camera also features Self Cleaning Sensor Unit with fluorine coating, which provides better dust protection. Body
This Canon SLR camera weighs 810 g and has dimension of 152 x 113.5 x 75 mm. The EOS 5D has Eye-level Pentaprism Viewfinder. The 3-inch TFT color liquid-crystal monitor has a resolution of 920,000 dot pixels. The Canon EOS 5D SLR camera supports CompactFlash Type I / II memory card. The camera comes with LP-E6 battery, which can take 850 pictures through Viewfinder and 200 pictures through Live View shooting mode. Performance
Canon EF lenses can be mounted on the Canon EOS 5D camera. The camera has TTL secondary image-registration phase detection Auto focus. EOS 5D has 9 point Auto Focus System, along with 6 assist Auto Focus point. This Canon camera has various Focusing mode such as One-Shot AF, AI Servo AF, AI Focus AF, and Manual focusing.

The EOS 5D has Auto sensitivity ranging from ISO 100 - 3200, which can be further extended up to ISO 25600(H2). The Electronically-controlled focal-plane shutter has speed of 1/8000 sec to 30 sec, with the help of bulb. This Canon camera can be attached with external Flash and is compatible with E-TTL II with EX series Speedlites.

Features and Connectivity
The Canon EOS 5D has various scene modes such as Standard, Portrait, Landscape, Neutral, Faithful, and Monochrome. This SLR camera has additional features like DPOF support, Auto power save, Digital noise reduction, Histogram display, PictBridge support, and Direct print.

The Canon EOS 5D SLR camera can shoot Full HD (1920 x 1080) video. The camera supports MOV movie format and JPEG, RAW and JPEG+RAW image formats. A user can shoot at 3.9 shots/sec in the Continuous Shot mode. In terms of connectivity, a user can use USB and HDMI Mini out (Type C).

BEST CAMERA IN THE TOWN

Its known as an alternative to cine camera among cinematographers who have been using it for shooting small parts of movies in complex situations like (a scene requiring mounting of camera on a bike or cramped spaces where a large camera might not fit very well). Moreover music industry(mostly Punjabi Music Videos)is also using the camera for its superb image quality, colour rendetion and low light performance. For still photography you can probably get a low end camera and buy better lenses ...

Hey , are u a fool that u want to buy this.
photo is to be viewed again and again ,
and a photo taken from even a Rs. 5000/- camera gives a vivid picture of the scenario which was snapped.

So , save some money.

why canon

agree with nikhil, if you are a professional photographer and really a tech about photoshoot you should not go for canon. your print resolution is 300 dpi but canon alway provide you 72 dpi shoots. where nikon gives you 300 dpi. converting a photo from 72 to 300 will cause some distortion but if you will not notice it until you are a real Photoshop pro. also moire pattern and grains are most common in canon. go for nikon d800 it is far far better than mark II. if you don't believe do a google...

COOL BUT NOT UP TO THE EXPECTATIONS

I bought it a few days before, i am a professional photographer. The lens quality is good but fine adjustments going wrong....
Do not expect anything when you are using this high end camera.
its better to look for something else
