Sensor Technology

Image Processing
The state-of-the-art DIGIC 5+ image processor from Canon lets you capture extremely clear high resolution images. This is also useful for taking clear images under varying lighting conditions as well.
61 point high-density reticular AF
In this camera it is also possible to change the AF points such that you get focus on different areas of the subject. The 61 point focus with the high density reticular AF mode is highly effective for drama shots and creative shots that may require depth of field effects or simple macro.
ISO Settings and Sensitivity
The ISO light sensitivity on this Canon EOS 5D, ranges from ISO 100 to ISO 102400. These settings will be extremely helpful in cases where you will need to shoot images under varying lighting conditions.
Continuous Shooting Mode
This camera is capable of shooting images at a high speed and frame rate of 6 frames per second. This will be ideal for sports based photography, action shots and also for shots that require you to capture images in sequence.

The Myth of DPI
Do this exercise:
Open an image in Photoshop, IrfanView and open the image size box; deselect "resample image size". Then change the Resolution to 9 dpi. Make sure that you do not resample the image size. Save this file with a different file name....
