Canon PIXMA E500 Multi-function Color Inkjet Printer (Borderless Printing)  (Ink Cartridge)

If you are looking for a printer for home use..this one is the best....its very cheap nd very fast...dont go for laser printer becoz in that u will get only b/w print function whereas here u can print HQ photos nd scan documents nd copy pages nd many more....itz cartridge is the biggest having 21 ml ink....nd all other cartridges are 8 or 9 ml...so it prints 2000 pages in Rs 625..which is 0.30 per page...
dont think much....just go for it.....

I was in search of a printer that I could use for printing my personal photos. I have found this to be really very useful. The photo prints are pretty satisfactory.

yes its does scan n print quite good. But it will become a headache when the ink will start running off. i have using this product for about an year. first of all refilling and installing the cartridges and will not be a easy task. many times it will keep on showing error messages stubbornly. its ink monitoring system and cartridge identification chip system will backfire and when it backfires u will feel like throwing the printer in the dustbin, as u will not be able to use any ink cartridge...

guys this is good scanner and very good printer*
if u want to take few prints like tickets,some articles,etc.like wise only for lite usage.
other wise stay away always go with laser printers.
i wont recommend it for students.
its for home usage and lite users.
u cant refill inks and cartridges are so costly.

i bought this printer 9 months ago, overall its very impressive the color depth, fast print outs, one touch scanner with high dpi, but the problem is its very hard to find its cartridge
even tried to refill but the vendor said its impossible because the cartridge is different from other canon printer cartridge's, tried to buy online but with no luck, even flipkart does'nt sell this particular printer cartridge, my printer is just lying at the corner full of dust
