This high-end compact camera is designed for professional and passionate photographers. A model from the PowerShot G series, this point and shoot camera has a focal length of 6.1 - 30.5 mm. The 35 mm equivalent focal length of the G12 is 28 - 140 mm.

You can bring subjects closer with 5x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom. The CCD image sensor of the Canon PowerShot G12 shoots images at 10 megapixels. This Canon point and shoot camera also lets you record videos in HD at 24 or 30 fps. This camera operates on a DIGIC 4 image processor and clicks pictures at multiple aspect ratios of 3:2, 4:3, 16:9, 4:5 and 1:1.

Designed to resemble the classics, the PowerShot camera has an ergonomically designed body. The grip panel on the front-right side of the camera lets you have a firm and steady hold. Battery and Storage

You can store pictures and videos on SD, SDHC, SDXC, MMC, MMCplus, HCMMCplus memory card. This Canon G12 camera runs on a rechargeable Li-Ion battery pack that lets you take up to 370 shots when fully charged.

You can make room for more by transferring pictures and videos from the camera to a computer via high speed USB 2.0. You can also watch your videos on a HDTV using HDMI mini connector.
