Good for glass hold not good for dashboard

I had purchased this item from flipkart. As per the documentation I tried to fit on the car dashboard but this item was keep coming off wherever you place in the car dashboard. Then I called the flipkart customer care to get the replacement. I had a good experience with customer care -- they promptly replaced the item within 3 days. I have been using this for more than 7-8 months now. A very value for money product. The suction is pretty good and does not fall off your windscreen easily. Excellent on, Suction cup works perfectly with glass. however, an adhesive arrangement could have been provided for dash board placement line Amkette provides at a cheaper cost. Because of the small neck length, holds pretty ok while driving on rough roads else high length neck holders tend to bend the neck because of phone weight. Value for Money

Capdase is one of the brands i trust for its worth for the money and long time use . Though other holders are available at cheaper price , this i got for its functionality and options . All sizes of phones fit (not tabs i guess) . It has soft padded sides makes sure there will be no scratches on my phone by the holder .Also The holder has two teeth like (also soft padded) which protects at the base not to fall down.

Good product

I have tried a couple of options for docking my phone somewhere in the car but they didn't work out too well. The ones that could be attached to the vent were not very user friendly. I saw the Capdase product being used by a friend and purchased it. I find it quite sturdy and extremely useful especially when I have to use my car for navigation.

Good Stand, No Rattle. But it does come with certain limitations.

The Quality of the product is top notch. The plastics and the suction base feels sturdy and well built. This does not rattle unlike my previous holder.
This does have one trade off, that is there is length to the boom arm. This may be a problem for some cars. Be sure to check this aspect before buying.

Nice clamping (only on glass surfaces)

Like a couple of other posts mention, it fits to glass only, The dash is usually not very smooth and hence does not clamp to it. There is slight vibration when you put on the phone. Just be careful when unclamping the phone. I managed to drop my phone absent minded by pressing the release button the first time!!! But overall it is a useful and a good product.
