I am a FY IT Student I used one of my friend's Casio FX991MS Scientific Calculator and It's awesome.
It is Best for engineering students and I think that it is also recommended by teachers also...................
All I am not a certified buyer cause I don't have this but I have used this and reliable because of its 3 years Casio India warranty ...........So just Trust it because its "CASIO"..................

Just wow!
excellent product as expected. Colour is nice. works properly. had 82ms which lasts for 8years without battery change and still working. these calculators are the best for engineers. Thank You FLIPKART and CASIO.

The best and most eonomical choice for any science student
I have been using this for the past year and it has worked perfectly.
The form factor is just amazing. It is very thin and light as compared to the ones available a few years back. The solid cover is very useful as it prevents the calculator itself from getting damaged. It has everything that a science as well as engineering student will ever need (to do on a calculator ;))

Haven't bought this from flipkart, but from the market. Price at flipkart is very good.
Pro: Good build quality. 2 line display, both lines quite large and legible. Reasonably large buttons for easy use. Runs on LR44 cell as backup when light is not sufficient for solar panel to work. Very sleek. Scroll up-down to look at previous calculations. Speedy processor (I use 69! - 69 factorial - as a good calculation to check speed in any calculator).

I am a M.Tech student at IITD, and using it since last 5 years.
Believe me it is the Best calculator a Science Student can have, it can do whatever mathematical operation you want to perform....
and plz do NOT buy lower models, as this one makes calculations Super FAST as compared to lower versions..

The bang for the buck.
hi, I am an engineering undergraduate from computer science branch. This is the most recommended calculators for us students. I will point out to the reasons why is it so:

A:There is no difference its the same calculator the asterisk maybe a typing error. The difference comes when you compare it with the es 991 which has certain extra functions and a better LED display
