A Better Option to Start Amateur Astronomy
First of all, the price mentioned on Flipkart is far too high! I bought it from [Au.. Vi.. Pvt. L..], Connaught Place, Delhi(which is one of the official dealer of Celestron in India). There it took me Rs. 11ks(approx.). The scope is very good. Bought it just couple of weeks ago, and after seeing the moon with 20mm eyepiece; I jumped out of amazement. Bang for buck. Read this before buying!
For anyone who is new to astronomy and knows the basics, this telescope is ideal. I bought this from another e-retailer for half the price that is listed here. So my first advice is- try to get the best deal instead of blindly buying. Secondly, do your research as to why you need a telescope, what is your budget, what are you going to use it for and what matters more to you- power, ease of use, accessories provided or magnification.
