    Powerful and decent optics

I am very pleased with this binocular, it is very powerful, and have decent optics. At first size seems quite large but ok if looking at magnification and optics diameter. Moon craters are clearly visible and took the first glimpse of surface of moon.

For astronomical viewing tripod is required as a little hand vibration moves object quickly. Great for astronomical or distant resolution. Very good focus and high resolution. Value for money in this price range.

    Trustworthy

I am an amateur astronomer, keeping this hobby alive since past 11 years.

    Pros:
Great feel. Literally, feels quality the moment you hold these.
    Not too heavy
    smooth Focus knob
comes with a L-bracket for tripod attachment
    Crisp images of moon craters.
Can see jupiter moons..all four..when moons are closer to jupiter, it amazing resolves them as very fine red dots..
Havent seen saturn yet, as saturn rises in the daylight these days.
    Messier objects are shown brilliantly
    I enjoy watching Co...

    The perfect choice for beginners.

Celestron Skymaster 25x70 is an awesome product in the Skymaster product line. The build quality is pretty good, crystal clear and very sharp focus. The 70mm objective lens is suitable for viewing objects at night. Since this is meant for astronomy it is always a good idea to focus on objects that are very far away, since nearby objects will seem a little blurred. It is pretty heavy too so a tripod is a must to stabilize the distant object. The craters of the moon were clearly visible with th...

Good binoculars but weight is a nuisance.

I've been using these pair of binoculars for quite some time now. All I can say is they offer a decent view of the sky. Its easy to sport the M31 or the moons of the jupiter with it. A good binocular for a budding astronomer.

But the binoculars are heavy & its not comfortable to hold them for more than few minutes at a time. The tripod attachment provided with it is not so sturdy & the binoculars keep on moving even while mounted. A good piece of equipment if I can find a sturdy enough tripo...
