Picked this up as this seemed to be in rage.Over the past one year a number of good books on Foreign Policy have lined up including the authorative NAM 2.0 report.Sikri does some honest introspection in most of the chapters of the book.It is understandable that there are always space constraints in a book but the author should have devoted time to Africa and Latin America (emerging areas in his own words).

The chapter on US and Nuclear Issues was not at all upto to the mark.One page was fill...

The book is interesting and easy to read. Bought it on suggestion of a tutor during my CSE studying days. Overall the book is nice. But don't know how useful it for IAS preparation.

It Is Good very interesting and critically explained all the topics. you need google translate to read this book or have to be good in vocabs and phrases. It is must for Upsc.

It gives a broad understanding about India's foreign policy. It's a wonderful package to develop a broad perspective about India's relations with other nations. Recommended for UPSC! Do not miss this one!

book written in 2009, deals elaborately with Indo-US nuclear deal much better;
the internal issues with some neighbors have changed: Myanmar has moved to democracy now.

But still, the book gives a good background to start with and more pragmatic approach.

The book is a masterpiece. However I bought it from UBSPD. Flipkart delvery was good, but the the book was given to be in a torn condition. I applied for a replacement, but the seller UBSPD did not respond. Please never buy from this seller. One they charge exorbitant delivery charge, and two, they do not have any followup action. WS retail in this respect is awesome!!!
