Pretty Good Chess Board

This is the first time I'm buying a wooden chess board. I got this chess board two days after placing the order. When I got it, one of the two hinges which holds the two pieces of wood together was damaged (hinges can't be seen in the pictures). I immediately called flipkart for a replacement. I got a brand new one just two days later.

The chess board comes in a cardboard box and the chess pieces are kept inside it in a stapled plastic cover.The chess pieces are of Staunton style.

THE CHESS BOARD IS GOOD BUT ITS PRICE IS HIGH...

The chess board is a good one but the locks are not very good and look as if they are going to break...the chess board and pawns look good but if you touch the pawns then you don't feel that they are made of wood...the pawns are too light,so if you are buying this product because of the wooden pawns then please i recommend you not to buy this product...three stars to the product as a whole but the price is very higher than it should have been,so buy it accordingly please and read all the revi...

Looks classy, feels cheap

The images were stunning and it was seeming like a good purchase untill the package arrived and i felt the pieces. They are extremely light and do not give you the rich feeling that you expect from the images. It arrived i a thin local cardboard box and doesn't have a box u can keep it in storage.

Net net i feel deceived.

Good product

Quality is good. Craving on the chess pieces is good and does not look shady. Looks professional. I have put this up as my drawing room display showpiece. Quality of hinges and lock could be better.

We wanted a classy, sturdy chess set for our home. I was unsure about the item as there were some concerns raised about the quality of the hinges in the reviews here. However, the set arrived in good condition and is of decent quality. What I do mind is the lack of a box. This chess board is not at all worth the price(not even for the offer price).

In the product specifications they say about the size of the king as 2.5 - 3 inch tall, but all the other coins are too small. All the pictures they have shown here looks very impressive, but please do not be deceived. The color is also different that the pictures shown. wrong product

to my surprise i found a plastic chess set instead of this wooden one, which i feel is wrong after waiting for a week for the product to arrive, now i am being told this mistake can NOT be corrected i must take a REFUND, and replacement is not possible
