Summary of the Book

The Overlords’ arrival changed everything. They came in giant silver ships, arriving from deep space. They targeted every major city on the planet, and in fifty years, they set about methodically cleansing the planet of its vices. Mankind was changed. No longer would man fight man over disease and poverty. No longer was man ignorant. However, this seemingly golden age could not last. The Age of Mankind begins, and then, so do the nightmares.

About Arthur C. Clarke

Arthur C. Clarke was a science fiction novelist known for co-writing the screenplay for the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey. He also wrote the novelization of the script to worldwide acclaim.

Clarke has won several Hugo and Nebula awards, and contributed to the scientific world with his satellite communication system proposition.
