One of the most prevalent evils in India is child abuse. Taking advantage of an innocent child at an age where he or she is supposed to be learning is absolutely cruel. Directed by Rajesh S. Jala, Children of the Pyre is a documentary about seven remarkable children who have been brought up in Varanasi and have been making a living by cremating the dead at Manikarnika, one of the busiest cremation grounds of India. Get a better idea of the adversities these children have to face in the years of their innocence.
