Super Fun !

A Perfect weekend read. Don't just go by its title, or the cover. This is not a 'chick' book. (even I had thought so). This is perfect for all. With interesting backdrop of a hospital in Australia, the group of interns makes you feel you are one of them. So lightly written, you will enjoy each page. A Hilarious Read With a Strong Message

This is one of the funniest books I've read in a long time. Yet it's full of insights about the 'east meets west' situation. The main character, Dr. Manjula Mendis, is full of intelligent observations about the life of an Asian growing up in a western setting, trying to fit in with society while living up to the expectations of parents - not an easy task.

True to its title!

So, an odd name for a novel and odd pics on the cover page, but the story inside is pretty interesting nonetheless.

The protagonist is a medical intern who's stuck in a life with really weird happenings in a really funny way. It's difficult to produce comedy, but this book has definitely managed to reach there, rather the author has. It's got fun, comedy, romance, drama, and a lot of other angles which makes up for an interesting read.
