The Chronicles of Narnia Box Set is a book-set of the fantasy adventure for children by C. S. Lewis. It narrates the fun and adventure that a bunch of kids come across in the magical land of Narnia. The book also has illustrations by Pauline Baynes.

Summary Of The Book

This book has a unique storyline which revolves around the imaginary land of Narnia. Narnia has magic and mythological creatures who can speak.

A few children from the real world witness strange things happening when they are summoned to the land of Narnia. They gradually get involved in the activities and incidents occurring in Narnia and try to unfold the past of the place. Narnia’s mythical lion, Aslan, seeks the help of these children to save Narnia from anarchy and expects them to return the land to its deserving ruler.

It follows a very gripping storyline and is very renowned among youngsters. The children, Susan, Peter, Lucy, and Edmund involved themselves in the lives of others in Narnia and try to help them.

This box edition comprises all seven chronicles in it. Moreover, illustrations have been presented in the series. This box series contains all the ingredients to be a classic fiction adventure series.

About C. S. Lewis

C. S. Lewis was best known as a novelist, poet, and literary critic.

Apart from this book, he has authored many other books, some of which are The Discarded Image: An Introduction to Medieval and Renaissance Literature, The Business Of Heaven: Daily Readings From C. S. Lewis, and Miracles: A Preliminary Study.

He was born in Belfast, Ireland, in the year 1898. In his initial days, he was home tutored. But afterwards, he joined Wynyard School in Watford, Hertfordshire. After completing school, Lewis went to Campbell College in the east of Belfast, but he started suffering from respiratory trouble and had to give up college. It is at this point that he visited the town of Malvern, Worcestershire. After staying there for some time, he enrolled at the propaedeutic school called Cherbourg House. Later, Lewis took admission at Malvern College and remained there for a short period of time. Later on, he started getting educated privately with William T. Kirkpatrick, ex-headmaster of Lurgan College. In the year 1963, Lewis collapsed in his house and died shortly after. He was married to Joy Davidman from the years 1956 to 1960.
