A journey into theoretical mechanics

As a scientist I know that we hardly read scientific books from cover to cover. However this fabulous book by Leonard Susskind seems to make a difference. I did read it from cover to cover and did it quiet fast. In fact it is very racy. Further note that one needs to have a good background in mathematics. Just wow!

Classical Mechanics, The Theoretical Minimum is one of the best books that I have read. Small exercises in the middle of the chapters really test your understanding and sense. I will insist that one should solve each and every exercise as one come across them.

Pros: Elaborate discussion.
A story(not exactly) based leaning (sudden humours)
Easy to understand
Complex subjects made easy
