Geronimo Stilton: The Coliseum Con is a part of the Geronimo Stilton series, which is a best-selling children’s fiction series. This series was originally published in Italy by Edizioni Piemme, but since 2004 Scholastic Corporation started publishing the series in English.

Summary Of the Book

Geronimo Stilton is a popular children’s fiction series, which features the various adventures of the protagonist Geronimo Stilton, who is a talking mouse. Mr. Stilton resides in New Mouse City which is located on Mouse Island. Geronimo is an editor and journalist and is the publisher of The Rodent's Gazette, the most celebrated newsletter of New Mouse City. He is a mild-mannered mouse and lives with his younger sister, Thea Stilton, his cousin Trap Stilton, and Benjamin Stilton, a nine-year old nephew of Geronimo. He always stays away from trouble and avoids taking risks but as fate would have it, Geronimo is always on an adventure and writes about them in his newsletter.

This time around, the pirate cats are up to their usual mischief. They time travel to Rome in the year 80 AD to the opening of the Rome’s largest amphitheater. They are on a mission to con the world into thinking that they have designed the magnificent monument. Bonzo and company also have plans to infiltrate the Senate by fooling the citizens of Rome.

Geronimo and his friends must save the day, and so they hop on their time machines to Rome. Will Geronimo be able to expose this sinister plot of the pirate cats? The Coliseum Con is another fun book of the series packed with humor, wit and a lot of valuable knowledge on history.The book has beautiful graphical illustrations to make it a fun read for children. Dami started off in the writing world as a proofreader at her family’s publishing company.
