good contents, packaging should have been better

I think part of the beating should be taken jointly by Flipkart and publisher for not coming up to expectations. Publisher for deciding to print this subject without color printing. some of species look so same in black & white pictures. Flipkart; because they are selling prints of 2006. the papers are almost getting yellowish and to be handled carefully or else they with turn into pieces!

Intellectual, but not satisfied. Black and white images with bad print makes it flop.

I liked the detailed information presented in the book, many important facts and threats to the Indian snakes by the superstitious thinkings of the people were also remarkable. But the thing that made me disappointed that was, the pictures in the book were black and white. Any type field guide suppose to containing good quality coloured snap shots or illustrations by which it would easy to identify any type species.

Awesome Book

This book is awesome, many thanks to Mr. Romulus Whitaker, although I have been following his work in Agumbe rainforest and in Chennai Snake park, but this book SNAKES OF INDIA was great developing know how and do & Don't, But i am very offended not to find the Images of snakes in Color, it is really difficult to physically identify them in Black & white.

Rest is fine.
