    Description

Harry Potter Box Set (Set Of 7 Books) takes the readers through the adventures of Harry Potter and his friends at their school of magic.

    Summary Of The Book

Harry Potter Box Set (Set Of 7 Books) comprises the seven books of the Harry Potter fantasy series.

Harry Potter is a young boy who attends a school of magic with his best friends, Ron and Hermione. The books follow Harry’s adventures as he struggles to strike a balance between being a wizarding hero and being a normal teenage boy. The battle between Harry and his nemesis, an evil wizard named Lord Voldemort, holds center stage throughout the series.

In the first book Harry Potter And The Philosopher’s Stone, Harry, an eleven-year-old with new-found magical powers attends the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. There he makes a few good friends and a few irksome enemies, and comes face to face with Lord Voldemort.

In the second book, Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets, the mysterious Chamber of Secrets has been opened a second time, spelling serious trouble. Harry and his friends attempt to save the school from possible murders as heralded by the vicious attacks on several students.

In the third book, Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban, Harry faces an eventful new year at school. He is under serious threat of being murdered by the notorious fugitive, Sirius Black.  Animal rescues, brilliant gifts, and new magic spells are also thrown in.

In the fourth book, Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire, Harry is somehow in the running for the Triwizard Cup despite being underage. And what’s more, Lord Voldemort is back, and out to kill Harry once and for all.

In the fifth book, Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix, Harry’s life is as tumultuous as ever—filled with upsetting dreams, nasty teachers, fabricated news stories, and a heart-wrenching loss.

In the sixth book, Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince, things take a darker turn as Harry delves into Lord Voldemort’s gruesome past, seeking important clues to help bring about his destruction.

In the seventh book, Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows, Harry is the spearhead of the battle against Lord Voldemort. All events culminate in a no-holds-barred final showdown, marking the end of the Harry Potter franchise.

The first book was released in 1997. After a whopping sales figure of over 450 million copies, translations in over 67 languages, successful film adaptations and fast-selling merchandise, the brand’s worth has shot well past 15 billion dollars. It has garnered unprecedented popularity, commercial success, and critical acclaim.

    A Piece of Beauty!

I don't think I need to review the books here, as everyone knows they are masterpieces & one of the greatest literary works of all times...
Now lets talk about this particular edition. The quality of the books is really nice, I specially liked the covers "with the white backgrounds" which doesn't remind readers of the movie. The Red Box, that the set comes in is as beautiful as the story in packs within. It would catch you eye even if it was hidden in the "Room of Requirements" :)

A must own for Harry Potter Fans!

I had read the reviews and was expecting that the set will be brilliant. To say it is "brilliant" would be an understatement. I already own a set and bought it as gift for a friend. Was excitedly waiting to see how it would look. Was not at all prepared for letting my friend have it after I feasted my eyes on it. It is more than value for money and an absolute treasure to be an owner of. My set of Harry Potter collection fades away in contrast to this. The packing is very compact and neat. It...

Not as good as one might expect

I was dissappointed at the quality of the paper. I thought it was a great deal, But the paper quality is below average. I had read all 7 books before. Only reason I bought it was because I wanted my personal copy. Bloomsbury should not print on such cheap paper.

    Dream Come True

I never owned a single HP book... used to borrow them from my friends. Ever since I saw this on Flipkart with such a great discount, wanted to buy it straight away. As I was not earning, it was a dream to buy this set with my 1st salary. Got the 1st salary today... and had immediately placed the order. From a house-elf to a Prince, they all sacrificed so that he could live... and with him, even I lived. Proud to be a part of the generation that grew up with Harry Potter... "the boy who lived"...

    Bad paper quality

You can't expect or keep epic book series with such bad paper quality and print. Though, Flipkart is superb in shipping and everything, these books are not up to mark. The publishers Bloomsbury, shouldn't make this book series so cheap. Font and Line spacing so bad that you can't even have delight of reading.
Thanks to Flipkart for giving me an opportunity for getting refund for this product and letting me to buy another version of this box set. Keep good goin, Flipkart! :)

This is a treat for potter fans

Some people will be disappointed with the quality of pages of this book and the book cover, but the complete series you are getting for the price is a blockbuster deal. The feel of the book is a little better than the pirated copies you get near road side stalls. Don't expect amazing paper quality. The font used is good and the spacing is good. I personally like the books but definitely not a set for the snobbish lot. People more concerned with the paper type and hard bound with amazing graph...
