Ravanayan

Once long ago, in ancient India an epic war was fought between dharma and adharma. It shook an empire stretching across three worlds, ended a centuries-old reign and marked the beginning of a new age. The victors are worshiped as gods to this day and stories of their greatness are part of everyday conversation. This is the story of the one who lost. Ravanayan is a bold new comic book series that retells Valmiki's classic epic from the point of view of its antagonist - Ravana, king of Lanka, leader of the rakshasa nation, conqueror of world and vanquisher of gods. Creators Vijayendra Mohanty and Vivek Goel explore the values inherent in the Ramayana and retell the immortal story as something more than a simple tale of good triumphing over evil. This account of Ravana's life re-imagines much of what is held to be true about one of India's most loved tales and in the process, takes the reader on an enchanting quest for the very meanings of right and wrong, good and evil, dharma and adharma. This book is different from The Ramayana as the protagonist here is Ravana instead of Rama. The creators believe that the land of Lanka had prospered under the rule of the mighty Ravana and as a result, they have come up with this book to pay their tribute to this influential ruler, addressing him as 'The Lord'. This is the life story of the great grandson of Brahma, a perfect hybrid between a Sage and a Rakshasi. This is the life story of Ravana before he abducted Sita, this is the story of the one who lost.

Were House (Volume 1)

For fans of action, scifi, fantasy, horror and some good old-fashion blood and guts this book promises a gratifying smorgasbord.

Showcase - Book 2 (Vaali / Ghatotkach)

Ghatotkach

Dwapara yuga saw the ascension of humans as the most powerful creatures on the face of earth. It was accompanied by the demise of anything 'beyond humans'. The gods made sure that the world gets cleansed of everything supernatural. Demi-gods and Semi-demons, all had to go. Ghatotkach was no exception. Born to the warrior Bheem, son of Pandu and the demoness Hidimba, he died fighting for the Pandavas. A bearer of the blood of demons and gods alike in his veins he was the most powerful mystic in the whole world second only to Lord Krishna. The book brings you the story of not only a mighty warrior but him as a son and as a father too. With the writer's thoughts being put to paper by the spectacular artwork of Vivek Goel (Ravanayan) & Rakesh Kumar (Kim - Campfire Graphic Novels), the book promises to bring forth many facets of Ghatotkach previously limited to only a few books.

Vaali

Vaali, the mighty ruler of Kiskindha has always been labeled as an enigma. A warrior so powerful that he could subdue the demon king Ravana. A warrior so powerful that even the avatar of Lord Vishnu had to hide behind bushes to kill him. His kingdom prospered under his rule and every alliance he made, made his realm mightier. He did not make it to the final battle in Lanka, but has always been among the most prominent characters in the Ramayana. The book brings to paper the life and death of Vaali accompanied by another piece of extravagant artwork by the very talented Vivek Goel.
