He is also known for directing Nuns on the Run and My Cousin Vinny. Sir Antony Rupert Jay is an English director, broadcaster and writer. He is also known for writing the BBC TV documentaries Royal Family and Elizabeth R: A Year in the Life of the Queen. He was awarded the title of a Commander of the Royal Victorian Order (CVO) for personal services to the Royal Family. The writers are the creators of the hit TV series upon which this book is based. They also created the spin-off series entitled Yes Prime Minister and wrote another companion book, The Complete Yes Prime Minister.
