Properly explains how things happen in real world. Every digital module starts with a basic design and then design in modified after explaining how can we improve it. Same approach if Followed throughout the book.First you understand what are the basic functions then you workout a basic design then you keep modifying and improving the same design as you learn new concepts.

The way in which the content is presented , practical and numerical scenarios for the given theory , never lets you put this book down . I have stallings and zaky too , but this one is awesome as you actually get to understand by way of diagrams on how it actually happens inside the processor.

All computer engineering student must possess this book.

The is by far the most amazing book that I have found on computer organization. If you are a starter then this is the book to buy. If you want to go into depth then try Computer Systems by David R.O'Hallaron.

Not a must for beginners. No not at all.

Worth reading at least once, if you are from an electronics back ground or want to pursue career in this field

its a good book to reffer to the hardware architecture of ARMand MIPS processors.
