It is a nice book with proper explanations.Clears basic concepts of programming.I haven't checked the CD yet.The best thing about this book is that it contains basic info about the three pillars of Computer Science-Software,Hardware & Networking.But u need to study CBSE XI class CS syllabus first to fully understand it.

The cover photo given to the product in flipkart was not good but the one i got was clean and well packed .

Great book for 12th Std. C syllabus
has the required details and also some extra information in some chapters(eg:pointers,etc.)
well written in a clean and has good explanations. the exercises at the back are quite exhaustive and helps one develop his knowledge.

one book in this 1st volume was little tampered which developed over usage

Its a very useful book for having basics of computer science. Even though it is for class 12, I felt it as an essential for all who need a revision of topics in this book. The delivery from flip kart was so fast that i got it within 3-4 days after ordering.

Usually Flip Kart is prompt and keeps up to its reputation of good delivery .But,on receiving the book i found the VOLUME 1 had torn edges and VOLUME 2 was OK from outside.But, on starting with VOLUME 2 recently i found many pages were half torn...This is the 1st time i have encountered a very bad delivery from Flip Kart
