Scott Berkun is a well known American public speaker and author.
Berkun has authored several books including The Art Of Project Management, Making Things Happen, Mindfire: Big Ideas For Curious Minds, and The Myths Of Innovation.
Berkun studied design, computer science, and philosophy at Carnegie Mellon University. He began his career at Microsoft in 1994, and worked on Internet Explorer 1.0 to 5.0, MSN, and Windows. He left the software company in 2003 to take up a full time writing career. He has also been a commentator on MSNBC, CNBC, and National Public Radio. He has written for The New York Times, Forbes Magazine, Wired Magazine, The Washington Post, and Fast Company.
