Conquering The Chaos : Win in India, Win Everywhere

The book is a must-read not only for Indian Managers, but also for their Global MNC bosses on how MNCs need to organize themselves to win in India. The book begins by articulating a compelling case of why it is necessary for MNCs to do well in this country (despite the chaos and uncertainty) and how success in India can build capabilities to succeed in other markets too. It then offers a practical guide on how to do so, from hiring the right kind of local Indian CEO to the operating processes...

First of all the Banking & Service sectors have not been covered well, Ravi Venkateswan kept his pen hovering on the manufacturing sector in general though IT was a good initiative.
Secondly, more case histories of our corrupt government needed to be focused.
Last but not the least, ...

Good Read

The good thing about buying on Flipkart is you can get what you want, home delivered and cheaper than in the store. I saw this book at the Airport bookstore, but controlled myself from buying, before finally ordering it in Flipkart, home delivered with double pack to reach in perfect condition.

Absolute Business Classic

This book was suggested by my Sensei who himself is a very accomplished professional in the Indian business world. I haven't read the complete book but whatever I have read tells a lot about Ravi as a great corporate leader in India Inc. and seemingly I feel that he is one of the select few who have it to get to next level which generally is missing to be seen in lot of others available.

The information, insight and education shared by Ravi is impeccable and very helpful for budding entrepre...

Conquering the Chaos

Ravi Venkatesan, a highly accomplished professional, has written a masterful piece on not just doing business in India, but succeeding in India. This book is a treatise on navigating through what many might at first brush consider a difficult market to succeed in. Ravi's honest and direct approach of expressing his experience in India is a remarkable one, and one that would certainly benefit top executives of multinationals embarking on understanding this landscape as well as entrepreneurs of...
