Mr. Jasbir Singh Bajaj is a former IAS officer from 1987 Batch Tamil Nadu Cadre. After serving the state and the nation for more than 3 decades and on getting the Apex Scale (Chief Secretary's Grade) he took voluntary retirement from IAS on 31.12.2018.
Prior to that he has served in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for 5 years from 1980 to 1985 as inspector of Police. After resigning from CBI, he wrote the Civil Services Examination, 1986 and cleared the same in his only attempt with Law and Public Administration as his optional Subjects. Since his retirement from I.A.S., he has been guiding students in subjects like Law Optional, Polity and Governance for Civil Services and other competitive examinations.
