Pramod K. Nayar’s most recent publications include English Writing and India, 1600-1920: Colonizing Aesthetics, and The Trial Of Bahadur Shah Zafar. He teaches at the Department of English, University of Hyderabad. Some of his other works are The Great Uprising: India, 1857, and Reading Culture: Theory, Praxis, Politics.
