This is a very good book which provides a strong foundation for control systems engineering.... theory is given and explained clearly which will definitely boost your understanding and intuitions about the subject .. very useful for GATE..don't think much go for it..

Self contained and Comprehensive Book.
The book provides an intuitive feel for the subject.
However inorder to get the feel one has to go over the definition of the concept, its background, relevant figures, worked examples and applications.
It takes some time because of the rigour of the book.
This book is best read when read in conjunction with its video leacture.

While learning the subject, if you get motivated by looking at the ample number of real world application then you must go for this book. plenty number of real world examples + thoroughly explain concepts + MATLAB tutorials. I have never seen such nice written engineering book.

This book is really concise and gives a solid foundation in the subject of Systems Control.
It does not have a chapter where in it teaches you about bond graph modelling but it teaches you to derive the equations of the transfer function via the Laplacian method.

Like all Wiley publications this book is absolutely a pleasure to read through.

This book is much useful for practising engineers and professionals. This book comes with a rich web supplements which even includes the solution of practice problems. The book would be a little 'arduous' for beginners,so initially go for basic books like Control System by SMARAJIT GHOSH but after a repeated practice you can be able to understand it. It is a suggestion to all GATE aspirants that go for it......
