I installed this on my AMD FX-6300 and temperatures are Awesome!!

Temperatures before with stock cooler : While gaming [Watch Dogs] 50-60' C and Shut-downs....
While idle: 30-45' C
And very loud stock fan!!!

Temperatures now with Hyper 212X : While gaming : [Watch Dogs] 20-35' C !!!!
While idle : 13-20' C !!
No noise at all, and I can hear my old HDD!!
It never reached above 40' C.!

There are tons of reviews out there explaining how great this cooler is. You can go and read them. I would however like to give you my results of overclocking the AMD FX-4300.
The FX-4300 comes with a stock clock of 3.8GHz. Lately my old AMD Phenom II X4 955 BE had been heating up a lot.To keep it I cool decided to buy a new cooler for it.First I purchased the Deepcool Gamma Archer which didn't help at all as the load temps were in excess of 80'C.After reading reviews of a lot coolers I decided to go with this one and I'm happy with my decision as it didn't let me down.

Used this CPU Cooler on i7 2600K
with stock cooler, temperature on full load @ 3.8 GHz (default clock speed)usually crossed 75 degrees Celsius
After Installing this cooler, On Full Load @ 4.6 GHz (Overclocked) temperature Less than 50 degrees Celsius. (Attached one extra fan - cooler master xtra flo)

Installation was quiet tricky, consumed 2 hours as first time installed this type of cooler
after adding 2 fans, cooler is quiet big - make sure you check compatibility with your cabinet

This version is better than the Hyper 212 Evo with a better SP fan! Great cooling performance and ergonomics make it a best bang for the buck buy!!!

Other people have reviewed this and it is totally up to the mark.Does what it says it does.Temps are down.

Although the installation is just a little complicated because of the x bracket but other than that once you figure it out it is smooth sailing thereafter.

Packaging is done nicely.Comes with a bracket incase you need to attach another fan to it.

The thermal paste supplied with it i feel is good enough as i have not tried any other ones so far.

Although I'm still not comfortable with the concept of e-selling I was forced to take risk as I could not find this product in my city. I bought this to replace my older Thermalright Ultra-90. This cooler appears to be better with the direct contact heatpipe system. The product packaging was very good with all the required screws, and brackets, and a very comprehensive illustrated instruction manual. They had also provided thermal-paste. i usually don't write review , however CM 212x really changed my mind.. i have a fx 6100 which was getting really hot from 2 weeks with the stock cooler , even with the side panels open ( i have a CM 431 elite with 5 120mm fan) the pc was restarting due to overheat. after after installing this no issue, even while gaming for 3-4 hour temp doesn't crosses 55c (FC4, BF 3).
