Why is there a shipping charge for this item?

Sellers with Flipkart Assured waive off the delivery charge for Orders over Rs 500. For Orders under Rs 500, a nominal delivery charge is added per item.

Sellers without Flipkart Assured may or may not add a delivery charge to your Order. This is subject to Seller discretion.

What is the estimated delivery time?

Sellers generally procure and ship the items within the time specified on the product page. Business days exclude public holidays and Sundays.

Estimated delivery time depends on the following factors:

      • The Seller offering the product
      • Product's availability with the Seller
      • The destination to which you want the order shipped to and the Seller's location

Why does the delivery date not correspond to the delivery timeline of X-Y business days?

It is possible that the Seller or our courier partners observe a holiday between the day you placed your order and the date of delivery, which is based on the timelines shown on the product page. In this case, we add a day to the estimated date. Some courier partners and Sellers do not work on Sundays and this is factored in to the delivery dates.

What do the different tags like 'In Stock', 'Available' mean?

      'In Stock'

Products‘In Stock’ are readily available with seller.

Products listed as ‘In Stock’ are readily available with seller.

      'Preorder' or 'Forthcoming'

The product is not released yet. You can however ‘book’ an order for this. Shipping happens only after the product launch.

      'Out of Stock'

Currently, the item is not available for sale. Use the 'Notify Me' feature to know once it is available for purchase.

Sometimes, items have to be sourced by Sellers from outside India. These items are mentioned as 'Imported' on the product page and can take at least 10 days or more to be delivered to you.

      'Back In Stock Soon'

The item is popular and is sold out. You can however 'book' an order for the product and it will be shipped according to the timelines mentioned by the Seller.

      'Temporarily Unavailable'

The product is currently out of stock and is not available for purchase. The product could to be in stock soon. Use the 'Notify Me' feature to know when it is available for purchase.

      'Permanently Discontinued'

This product is no longer available because it is obsolete and/or its production has been discontinued.

      'Out of Print'

This product is not available because it is no longer published and has been permanently discontinued.

Why does the estimated delivery time vary for each seller?

Delivery times are influenced by product availability, geographic location of the Seller, your shipping destination and the courier partner's time-to-deliver to your location.

Please enter your default pin code on the product page to know more accurate delivery times on the product page itself.

Seller does not/cannot ship to my area. Why?

Enter your pincode on the product page to know whether the product can be delivered to your location.

If you haven't provided your pincode until the checkout stage, the pincode in your last used shipping address will be used to check for serviceability.

Whether your location can be serviced or not depends on:

      • Whether the Seller actually ships to your location
      • Legal restrictions, if any, in shipping particular products to your location
      • The availability of reliable courier partners in your location

At times Sellers prefer not to ship to certain locations. This is entirely at their discretion.

Corporate Chanakya is a book that aims to apply Chanakya's ancient wisdom to bring about changes in today's corporate environment.

    Summary Of The Book

Management styles might change, but the fundamental principles remain the same. Whether it is the government of a vast empire, corporate governance, running a small business, or even managing the household affairs, some basic concepts apply across all levels. Chanakya or Kautilya was an outstanding strategist and brilliant manager and is known to have helped in establishing a huge empire.

He was a genius for spotting potential, and nurturing and moulding it. His genius for planning and his farsightedness helped elevate young Chandragupta to the status of an emperor, the first of a mighty new dynasty. Could this genius be applied to today's business management field? The author of Corporate Chanakya thinks so. He has compiled a huge number of Chanakya’s aphorisms and has explained how they can be applied in the corporate framework.

Corporate Chanakya is divided into three sections. These focus on leadership, management, and training. The author has chosen appropriate sutras from the Arthashastra to illustrate important concepts that apply to each section. Chanakya was an extremely pragmatic man who went straight to the heart of any situation and analyzed it before devising any plans. This is an important advice for corporate executives who devise strategies. The author advises managers to clearly analyze, visualize and map out the details before taking action.

Corporate Chanakya describes the attributes of a leader, and it singles out energy as one of the most important of the required traits of a leader. A leader who is listless and apathetic will not succeed in inspiring anyone. On the other hand, a leader who is clear in his vision, is enthusiastic about it, believes in it, and himself works for it will succeed in convincing his people to follow his lead with equal enthusiasm.

The book provides practical advice for all levels of businesses. It provides tips on the qualities to look for in choosing the appropriate persons to fill positions at various levels. The book contains advice for aspiring entrepreneurs and experienced managers. It also contains a section on business ethics and quotes a lot of Chanakya's sutras to show that the ancient wisdom expressed by the brilliant thinker is not dated and can still be of practical use.

    Wonderful book.

There are few authors in India who write exceptionally well. Radhakrishnan Pillai is one of those. I am a vivid reader and read almost all the books that come my way. This stands first.
    1. Corporate Chanakya
    2. That's the way we met - Sudeep Nagarkar
    2. How I braved Any Aunty - Varun Aggarwal
    4. The Backbenchers - Siddharth Oberoi

    Elementary advice

Given this is a best seller, I was hoping for a new angle on applying Chanakya's wisdom. This book was a big let down. The book is dry as mentioned elsewhere and most of the advise sounds elementary - Treat all your employees equally and so on...

Good book for beginners to know about leadership and management.

I am writing this review after completing the Part 1. Though i bought this book year ago i started reading 1 chapter everyday while having breakfast and made an habit lately. honestly i feel this book contains basic strategy and can compare with our day today happenings.
After reading the Part - leadership i can guess what my TL thinks and the way to handle him and how to go in a diplomatic route to solve issues. Planning to present this book to my manager too.

Win Win strategy is the only ...

Nice to read...Could have been better

In this Book Author has Compared and Tried to Implement Kautilya's arthsashtra into Modern day Business Practices. The ideas have been lucidly presented which are easy to understand. The Author also Quotes versus from the Arthashashtra as well which is appreciable. But I would suggest that the Author Could have given Case Studies or Examples for Each of the Chapters. That would have made the book more fascinating...

    Chanakya's goodliness.

It portrays Chanakya's good part to run good government but nothing about the shrewdness of him. In any century (past, present or future) government are run by politicians not by spiritual leaders.

Nice read to know the good part of Chanakya.

    Not so good

The book does no justice to the time spent reading it or the money (although it ain't very expensive). The writing is loose, boring and with examples good for a primary class student, doesn't hold your interest after the first few pages.

Chanakya is a very interesting character from the Indian histroy and this is probably one of the worst works on the might kingmaker!

    Strong Recommendation: Don't BUY

Things people already know presented in using different words and sentences to show it is coming from chanakya. Mostly common wisdom. That's what happen when people write book without experiencing the detail first hand. one of the worst business book I have read.

Indeed a good curry for a professional soul

Ever since the social study book has gone out of sight i always wondered about the practicality of old stuff. Then on flipkart I found this book and it was good reference book if you as a manager seeking answers in your domain.

Uniqueness of this book exists in presenting old wisdom in context of modern time.

Service provided like delivery time discounts and bookmark i got free were very up to the mark

    Worth and not worth

This book is a good if you are reading books related to chanakya for first time. If you already read books like Chanakya neethi or any books related to Chanakya wisdom, then purchasing this book is waste of money and time.
