Now this review is really important for all MacBook Pro Early 2011. I have installed this 8GB RAM in one slot and keep the old 2 GB RAM as it is. So now total is 10 GB. Apple do recommends to use dual mode RAM as 8+8 GB. But currently it working fine.

This RAM is recommend for all MacBook Pro users with model Early 2011.

I was not sure if this memory will work on iMac Mid-2011 model.
There are four slots at the bottom which can be easily accessed by unscrewing 3 small screws. Two slots are filled with 2GB ram each. Thats how Mid-2011 iMacs have 4GB memory. I could easily insert 8GB in 3rd slot and increase the RAM of my mac to 12 GB.
Now if you think that is going to increase the speed of your Mac. No thats not the case. Adding more memory to Mac only allow you to keep big applications and files open in the b...

Was a little skeptical before making a purchase of 7K+ for a RAM that had fabulous reviews but hardly any feedback on being compatible with Mac Mini's. The Corsair Mac memory is a brilliant choice for third party ram for your Macbook Pro. Has no compatibility issues. Works like a charm. Got 16gigs now on my macbook pro. Love the performance, editing photos over 2gigs in PS is much faster now.

I got a pair of these and upped my ram to 16gb, very easy to install and works like a charm. The product arrived on time and took me just 2 minutes to install and OSX automatically detected the increased ram.

It is compatible with Mac mini late 2012. I have successfully installed the same. Was in doubt earlier because on product it was mentioned that it is compatible with Macbook mid-2010, early-2011,late-2011 but it works with late 2012 also.

I added this 8 GB to one of the slot and the other carried 2 GB already so 8+2=10 GB!... My dead slow mac mini now runs so fast...
