Jyotirmaya Sharma is an Indian academician and author. He is the professor of Political Science at the University of Hyderabad. He has been a fellow of the Centre for the Study of Developing Societies and the Indian Institute of Advanced Study. He frequently gives lectures in universities in India and abroad, and has held editorial positions at The Hindu and The Times of India. Jyotirmaya Sharma regularly writes columns for Hindustan Times, Outlook and Mail Today.
