Impressed

Craft Atlas attempts to bring all the craft forms practised in India under one banner. In its vision the book is titanic. To compile detailed information on even most, if not all, crafts forms practised in the country would require a very determined and unyielding dedication and even then the would be gaps within the body of work left. excellent

the book is well written and covers many aspects of our India which we did not know and shows the diversity of our rich heritage and culture. The photography and the index to each State, makes the reading more interesting. Well presented and in good, readable style. Can be enjoyed by professionals, amateurs or even as a coffee-table item. Highly recommended and worth the purchase. Prompt delivery and good packaging too by Flipkart

Treat

This book is a treat for all who wants to know the culture of our country. India as a country owes a lot to its textiles and crafts. We would not realize but our daily lives are highly intertwined with the them. Jaya description of state-wise products is very interesting. It helps you a lot to get to the history of when all this was started and how each product evolved over time.
Really amazing.
