The Care Vision Eye Chart Is The Familiar Chart With The Big Letter Or Symbol At The Top And Progressively Smaller Letters At The Bottom Of The Chart Down To 20/20 Or Better. This Is A Chart For Measuring Visual Acuity At A Distance - In Other Words, How Well You Can See Things That Are Far Away. A Person Taking The Test Covers One Eye From 6 Meters Or 20 Feet Away, And Reads Aloud The Letters Of Each Row, Beginning At The Top. The Smallest Row That Can Be Read Accurately Indicates The Visual Acuity In That Specific Eye. The Symbols On An Acuity Chart Are Formally Known As "Optotypes"Use For Checking The Power Of Eye.
