Excellent Router

I bought this product to boost the signal of Cisco Valet M10 Also to use DLINK as a stand alone DSL router .

Well I have to admit this router solves the purpose... I use this as a standalone wi-fi router in my 1100sft apartment and the signal is good in all the rooms ...

Awesome Device But only for Apple EcoSystem as per my initial review

Unreliable cable internet connection prompted me to buy this device. I got a 3G dongle that provided both Wifi and Modem connections. However, my office laptop wasn't enabled to accept Wi-fi or even USB. So, to make this work, I had to find a device that could take the Wi-fi signal and convert it to a wired network connection. Not as good as it appears to be. The repeater mode keeps dropping off from the main wifi if you give it the same SSID. After changing the name it maintains connectivity better but still devices going through this become slow. Nice to make an internet wifi. but not as good if you want to use as repeater.

Didn't buy this from Flipkart, but here's my experience with this device.

I have an old 802.11g wireless router (D-Link DI-524), and a brand new desktop with D-Link DWA-525 Wireless N 150 PCI Adapter in another room, distance between them being about 25ft, with brick walls at quite an angle, so needed a repeater. Didn't work as expected. Though the wi-fi connection from my desktop to this device was stable (with latest firmware), the connection between my router to this device was not stable...

Best WiFi range extender

While it has multiple uses, this is one of the best and economical Wifi range extender. I have ended up putting one in each bedroom so that no one from the family cribs about poor signal in any corner of the home. This particular purchase was setup inside the house near the main door and has ensured seamless connectivity to the main router for a WiFi CCTV camera installed outside the main door.

Setup using WEP push button is a breeze. Go for it.

USB port available with the device is not useful, i thought that it supports dongle through which one can use internet in sharing. but it does not support any dongle. please think before purchase.

More than Expected

Got this device to use as a repeater as my primary router is in the first floor of my house and I get poor signal in the interior rooms of my ground floor.Now I get almost full coverage in the ground floor as well.
I have tested all the modes(Router/Repeater/Hotspot) and every thing works perfectly,the range and throughput is more than average for such a small device.

Ok Ok repeater

It is not useful 2000 sq feet house where you have range reaching to corners of house but weak.
It is only useful where in house or office you have zero router coverage.
Set up is easy but you will face problem of dropping signal.
Net not working when mobile connected to repeater n all.

Not upto the mark.
