It has been a few weeks since I got this product delivered and it is working perfectly fine. The one issue I notice occasionally is that it sometimes takes a longer time (around 5 min) to start functioning after turning it on (till then the red light glows and once it starts functioning, the green light glows). This does not happen all the time though. Also I have had a couple of occasions when internet has stopped working till I switch off and switch on the modem.

This is the 2nd time I am buying this product but this one too conked off in less than a month like last time. It does not power on anymore. Jut to add, I stay in Powai in Mumbai city and here we have never had any power fluctuations.

Generally DLink is a well known brand but this particular item from Dlink is lowest in quality

The only reason for taking one star off is that the supplied adapter cord is too short. Modem doesn't get very hot while operating. Please note that this is only a wired modem, not a wireless one.

I brought this router few weeks back and this product should get 4.5 star rating as its very compact and easy to setup . max it takes to setup this router is just 5 min .

I had issues with my Beetel router provided by Airtel which concked off automatically after 2+ years of usage. That is when I decided to go for D-Link DSL-2520U. Affordable, small and user friendly to setup, this is an excellent router.

10th Oct-2015 - this too conked off in 2 years!

Stopped working after 35 days. So called 3-year warranty comes at a huge cost - driving to far away service center, going without Internet for weeks together.
Refrain from buying this modem

It was simple to set-up and it worked fine for just 2 days. Yes, it is dead now. Not sure if flipkart is selling refurbished products or D-Link as a brand is so pathetic. Now I'm without boardband and waiting for flipkart to replace this product. Lets see when this nightmare will end.

The modem is easy to config and is nice and compact.No problems experienced whatsoever.

The ADSL+Wifi router provided by BSNL had an electrical defect and I was looking for a plain ADSL modem as I already had a Belkin Wifi router for better range which I hooked up with this. Setup literally took a couple of minutes and it was ready to go. Can't get any simpler. Have been using this combo for almost a year now with no problems at all.
