I was looking for a replacement of my ADSL Modem from BSNL which was giving pains after six years of service. I already had a wireless router installed on the Modem. I had been told that I don't have a choice but to go for a wireless Modem cum router. However, I found the ideal replacement in D Link ADSL2 Modem. Remember that its a Modem and will not serve the purpose of a Router.
Had trouble configuring it(not a hardware issue but my own lack of expertise) but was helped by a helpful Call C...

- stable connection so far, didn't see any drop in connection

First of all, great initiative of "In a Day" by Flipkart. I got the item in a day as promised.

Coming to the product, its a perfect value for money item. No nonsense simple modem. Setup is a breeze and works absolutely fine, the form factor is perfect too.

People looking for a simple DSL modem can go for it without having second thoughts.

Its a good buy. In this price, if you are getting D-Link, it good. D-Link products are good always. I had a small problem with this ADSL which got fixed when I did the factory reset from the console. Its small, smart and looks stylish on the table. Go for it.

Extremely satisfied with this modem. Previously i had a beetel modem provided by Airtel but it went bad. This modem is best in its class, internet connection is very stable and strong. I coupled this modem with my Netgear Wireless router and happy to say that wifi enabled devices works perfectly with it. Ergonomically this device is very small and compact. Pros: Better than Zte modem provided by bsnl. Line attenuation was reduced by 2-3 dB by using the spliiter provided in the box. Fast synchronization compared to zte 831. Runs cool, no drop in connection if line is good.

Cons: Web Interface is pretty slow. No updates from manufacture.

In Short: Great device for adsl users.

There is not much one would care to write about a plain ADSL modem there days and the only time one gets to know of its existence is when it stops working or starts randomly dropping the line. The latter happened to my Beetel 110TC1 modem and it kept disconnecting often; almost purposefully when a large file would have downloaded 95% from a non-resuming server! After getting my ISP to look into the issue, I found that it was the modem which was at fault. That's when I ordered this product off...

First off, the picture is misleading in a good way :) The actual router is tiny - just a little bigger than my palm - small enough to blend into anywhere.

It's discrete, easy to setup and gets the job done, that too for a three figure price. And the brand D-Link is the cherry on top!

This is an excellent product and good value for money.This I bought as an replacement for my old Modem and to be very frank this exceeded my expectation. I just luv the way the product looks..it is small & slim but performance wise it just keeps going better. Even though it is small, it performs all the activities smartly a Modem & router is made for.
